BEHIND THE LENS
My name is Thong Nguyen, a Dallas-Fort Worth-based photographer; I'm also a wedding storyteller and founder of 7th Story.
Why do I name it "7th Story"? 7 stands for July, which is the birthday month of my mom and wife. They have always been my biggest supporters since I chose Wedding Photography. I prefer to tell through shooting weddings with my enthusiasm and passion. There are limited special occasions in life, so I want to ensure that the treasured memories I create for you are exceptional and aesthetic. And I am a passionate wedding photographer dedicated to immortalizing the love, joy, and emotion that fills the air on this momentous occasion.
With years of experience in the field, I understand the significance of every detail and the importance of creating a timeless collection of photographs that will be cherished for generations to come. Every couple has a unique story, and I aim to portray it through my lens, capturing the essence of their love in each frame.

What does true love means to me?
-My wife and I have been together for over 12 years — including 7 years of long-distance, across time zones and 7 years without seeing each other.
-Loving her taught me patience, trust, and how powerful the smallest moments can be.
-I don’t photograph weddings as just events. I photograph them as chapters — because I know what it means to fight for a story worth telling.
-Every ounce of passion and energy I’ve poured into my own relationship is the same care I bring to yours.

As a marathon runner and Ironman finisher, endurance is part of who I am. It allows me to stay sharp, creative, and fully engaged throughout your entire wedding day.
I’m also an adventurous hiker who finds inspiration in exploring the world — always chasing light, emotion, and beauty wherever I go.
